A podcast reader is a small software program that runs on your computer's desktop.  The reader allows you to subscribe to various podcast blogs and websites so that when a new broadcast is posted, your reader automatically downloads it.  In this way you don't need to hunt around to your favorite websites and blogs, their broadcast content comes directly to you, and you can play it upon demand or import it into your favorite MP3 player such as an iPod (From which the name Pod-Cast is derived).

AssessME.org provides a FREE podcast reader so that you can stay current with our various online training opportunities.  You may use the Podcast Reader for any other blog or website as well.  The download version is for Windows PC's only, and requires a FREE unzip program like WinZip.  AssessME.org has an Apple version available upon request (18MB file).
