As we enter into the time of refreshment the Lord has for us, I am reminded that the spiritual battles are not going to completely abate.  I was reading this week an article regarding Iraq.  Even though the military has gained much ground in the five years since the campaign began, there is still much to accomplish before the Iraq nation experiences complete freedom. 

We at CRCC must guard ourselves in several areas.  First, continue to pray.  Our prayers are the weapons that hold the enemy at bay.  Second, protect your attitudes and conversations.  This week has seen an increase of hurtful words and negative comments against the body of Christ.  The enemy loves this!  Breaking unity increases His strength.  However, the Lord has a purpose for CRCC and the city of Fort Wayne.  Third, focus on why we exist!  The Lord has called us to fulfill His purpose and that purpose is “To impact people, families, our community and nations for Christ."  Anything less is distractive and unproductive.
