The Final Week -- Monday
Myra Thomason @ Mar 17, 2008 10:28 AM

One Monday of His final week before the cross, Jesus goes into Jerusalem to cleanse and literally clear the Temple.  The Gospel of Matthew records it this way, "Jesus entered the Temple and cast out all those who were buying and selling in the Temple, and oveturned the tables of the moneychangers and the seats of those who were selling doves.  And He said to them 'It is written, 'My house shall be called a House of Prayer; but you are making it a den of robbers.'"

Jesus called His house a House of Prayer . . . of meeting and communicating with God . . . of heart to heart exchange . . . of spirit to Spirit dialogue . . . of intimacy with the Almighty.

If Jesus came into the church today, what would He have to say?
