Final Week -- Tuesday

It's interesting to me that on this day the religious leaders come and challenge Jesus.  It's not the Romans who are upset with Him; it's not the common man that is upset with Him; it's Jesus own peers . . .the religious leaders.  It is the Chief Priests, Pharisees, Herodians, Sadducees . . . it is the full spectrum of religion that has come today to trap Him. They ask, "Where do you get your authority?  Is it lawful to pay tribute to Caesar or not?  In the resurrection, whose wife will she be? What is the greatest commandment?"

Why do you think the religious community was so upset by Jesus?
